This elegant version of the classic in-frame Shaker kitchen was designed around the stunning green bamboo-stone worktop which the clients fell in love with at the first design meeting.  To showcase the worktop, other colours were pared back with a combination of distressed broken-white and white-washed oak details. – Kingston-upon-Thames, London –

Magical entertaining space

The heart of this traditional solid wood kitchen is an iconic circular fireplace; “Kakelugn” in Swedish. Continuing the homely feel, an island with an integrated Gaggenau induction hob and a vast amount of workspace provides a place for cooking and a comfortable place to sit and while away time with friends. – Sweden –

A neutral palette

This classic in-frame kitchen is the heart of this beautiful home. Hand-painted in white to keep the room ultra-fresh and clean with a natural wood worktop on the island and wood floor bringing warmth and practicality. Stone worksurfaces provide a practical working area around the sink and statement black Aga. – Sweden –


Scandinavian design rules focus on the functionality of a space before anything else. This bright and open space exemplifies this with a simple kitchen layout that is pleasing to the eye. Visual division

The issue to solve here was how to create a visual division between the kitchen and dining area whilst shielding any clutter around the sink while dining.
