QUIET LUXURY
Warm oak tones, sculptural stone and effortless Scandinavian living.

Designed to feel calm, inviting and beautifully understated, this contemporary family kitchen combines natural materials with thoughtful detailing to create a space that is equally suited to everyday life and entertaining. Clean architectural lines are softened by rich oak cabinetry, dramatic marble surfaces and an abundance of natural light.

The Brief
Our clients wanted a warm, minimalist kitchen that would become the heart of their home following a rear extension. The brief centred around creating a bright, open-plan space with generous storage, a sociable island for family gatherings, and timeless materials that would age beautifully. Every element needed to feel refined, functional and seamlessly integrated into the architecture.

To achieve this, our designers created a bespoke Scandinavian-inspired kitchen in natural oak, allowing the beautiful timber grain to become the defining feature of the space. A striking marble worktop and full-height splashback introduce texture and movement, while warm brass fittings provide a subtle layer of luxury.
The large island creates a natural social hub, incorporating discreet storage and integrated cooking while offering generous seating for everyday dining and entertaining. Along one wall, bespoke cabinetry conceals a practical coffee station, complemented by open shelving and elegant reeded glass cabinets that balance display with concealed storage.
Expansive glazing and overhead rooflights flood the room with daylight, enhancing the warmth of the oak cabinetry and creating a seamless connection between the kitchen, dining area and garden beyond.

Special Features
Statement Marble Island
The oversized marble island becomes the focal point of the kitchen, showcasing beautifully expressive veining and generous proportions. It provides ample preparation space while creating an inviting place for family and guests to gather.
Bespoke Reeded Glass Pantry
Custom oak cabinetry paired with reeded glass doors offers elegant storage without overwhelming the space. The textured glass softly obscures everyday items while adding depth, character and a handcrafted feel.

Natural Light & Indoor-Outdoor Living
