Classic Scandi
Our classic Scandinavian-style kitchens are truly bespoke and so versatile they can be tailored exactly to your preferred look.
Whether you prefer sleek and clean, with a simple Shaker-style door, modern appliances and handles, or a more classic kitchen with decorative features such as raised panels on the doors, beading, tongue and groove panels and other decorative details, a Scandinavian version of a classic kitchen is always timeless yet fresh.
Our solid wood kitchens are available in a range of different natural woods such as oak, ash, walnut and birch or can be hand-painted or spray-painted to match your desired colour scheme.
Modern Scandi
Our contemporary-style kitchens are designed with clean, architectural lines and the minimum of detail, often emphasized by handle-less cabinetry.
One of the key factors in Scandinavian design is ‘less is more’. Our belief is that everything in the design should have a function and be arranged in order to achieve an optimum efficiency.
Even though the exterior can be ultra-minimal, hidden behind the doors you’ll find features and details more often found in classic kitchens, such as a fully kitted-out larder or hidden utility rooms or pantries, making the kitchen both beautiful and functional.
Metallics
Adding the subtle sheen or burnished patina of metal undoubtedly creates a ‘wow’ factor in any kitchen design. It is not a coincidence that one of our metal kitchens won the KBB Review Kitchen Designer of the Year Award in 2018 – metal looks simply stunning!
Memories of our grandparents’ kitchens in Sweden with their practical stainless-steel worktops and interior trends following industrial-style meant Sola Kitchens led the way for the introduction of copper, brass and stainless-steel kitchens to the UK. Over the last few years, we have designed and installed countless kitchens with a range of different metallic finishes.
